At Cache Anglers, we believe great fishing starts with healthy waters. That’s why we’re proud partners of Trout Unlimited, working to protect and restore coldwater fisheries throughout Northern Utah. Whether it's stream restoration, habitat cleanups, or advocating for responsible water use, we’re committed to ensuring future generations can enjoy the same wild trout and scenic rivers we do today.
Local Fishing
Cache Valley is home to a surprising diversity of waters and fish species—from high mountain lakes to meandering valley streams. To celebrate and showcase this unique local fishery, we’ve created the Cache Anglers Slam. Inspired by Utah’s Cutthroat Slam, this challenge invites anglers to catch six different fish species found right here in our region. It’s a fun, rewarding way to explore new waters, learn about native and wild fish, and connect more deeply with the local ecosystem.

Education
At Cache Anglers, education is at the heart of everything we do. We’re dedicated to helping anglers of all ages connect with the outdoors and develop lifelong skills through engaging, hands-on experiences. Our Kid’s Summer Camp introduces young anglers to fishing, ecology, and conservation in a fun and supportive environment. Through the Trout in the Classroom project, local students witness the trout life cycle firsthand—raising and releasing fish while learning about healthy watersheds. We also host monthly presentations from experts in the field and fly tying nights where anglers of all levels can gather, learn, and share their passion. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your knowledge, Cache Anglers offers educational opportunities that go far beyond the water.
Fishing Trips
Each year, Cache Anglers offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fish the legendary waters of Alaska through our annual trip auction. The winning bidder receives a full guided experience at Petersburg Sportfishing, valued at $3,800, and can bring up to three guests (for a reduced rate) along for the adventure. From chasing trophy salmon to hauling in halibut, it’s an unforgettable trip in one of the world’s most spectacular fishing destinations. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds benefit Cache Anglers, with a special focus on funding our Trout in the Classroom program for local schools. We also occasionally auction off guided local trips, giving you even more chances to support conservation while enjoying the sport you love.
